Two patients in our clinic filed bankruptcy in the last month that were on Genentech products. Our patients are filing bankruptcy so Genentech can underwrite 1 million dollars for a band? That is so sick and wrong. This. Is awful.

So the money spent on this (which is budgeted well in advance under operating costs) could have saved the healthcare system how much? Pennies per patient in all actuality.

Make all of the excuses you want. Given the hundreds of millions of dollars your company wastes is obscene. Cancer patients going without food to pay for bands and your extravagant lifestyles is simply unethical and immoral. I hope you enjoy your drunken parties and expensive bands as a Breast Cancer patient has no money to even go to the grocery store. Cancer patients viewing food as an extravagance while your company pisses money away on booze and bands.

Spoken like a true Genentech employee. No understanding of the financial toxicity that Cancer patients across the United States face each day. As Genentech siphons every last penny from Cancer patients, Cancer patients go without food, no money for heat or for the electric bill. Yes, Cancer patients, one of the most vulnerable segments of society going without to pay for bands, expensive cars and other corporate waste. Typical Genentech employee response, out of touch of the reality of financial toxicity.
