    You said this:
"destroying capitalism saves the world from ecological calamity."

    I said this:
"By what measure is Socialist China better than The U.S. in terms of saving the world from ecological calamity?"

Certainly, you can find elements of capitalism in China and unfortunately, you can find aspect of socialism in the U.S. To the extent that China has grown, is a direct result of Capitalism.... Conversely, to the extent that you Libs are destroying America, is directly related to the aspects of socialism.

By and large, America is vastly more capitalistic than China... and China is astronomically worse for the environment than The U.S.

Surely even you can understand this simple TRUTH.

Occupy Wall Street was a disorganized movement without a clear focus and power base - essential in any successful revolution - but the message was clear: the divisions between those who are fortunate enough to enjoy city living as opposed to those who find it unbearable are too wide.

It is you who misconstrues my position.

But keep living in la la land, if it helps you cope with reality.

It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning. Power to the people not corporations!!

Please enlighten us all with your vast knowledge of our banking and monetary system.
And who is it, that controls them... Corporations or Government?
Yes... power to the people, not the government!!

He who controls "the system", which orders the financial institutions that dictate corporate actions and government policies, commands the future.

I asked for YOU to enlighten us, NOT a copy-n-paste YouTube, propaganda video.

So... You offer the words of a "comedian", to help us "understand our banking and monetary system".

A fucking dead, unfunny, uneducated comedian, no less.

Nothing enlightening here and certainly nothing funny here, but you are a serious joke of a human being!

How's this for dead man's words:

War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses.

I believe in adequate defense at the coastline and nothing else. If a nation comes over here to fight, then we'll fight. The trouble with America is that when the dollar only earns 6 percent over here, then it gets restless and goes overseas to get 100 percent. Then the flag follows the dollar and the soldiers follow the flag.

I wouldn't go to war again as I have done to protect some lousy investment of the bankers. There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket.

There isn't a trick in the racketeering bag that the military gang is blind to. It has its "finger men" to point out enemies, its "muscle men" to destroy enemies, its "brain men" to plan war preparations, and a "Big Boss" Super-Nationalistic-Capitalism.

It may seem odd for me, a military man to adopt such a comparison. Truthfulness compels me to. I spent thirty- three years and four months in active military service as a member of this country's most agile military force, the Marine Corps. I served in all commissioned ranks from Second Lieutenant to Major-General. And during that period, I spent most of my time being a high class muscle- man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism.

I suspected I was just part of a racket at the time. Now I am sure of it. Like all the members of the military profession, I never had a thought of my own until I left the service. My mental faculties remained in suspended animation while I obeyed the orders of higher-ups. This is typical with everyone in the military service.
I helped make Mexico, especially Tampico, safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefits of Wall Street.

The record of racketeering is long. I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of Brown Brothers in 1909-1912 (where have I heard that name before?). I brought light to the Dominican Republic for American sugar interests in 1916. In China I helped to see to it that Standard Oil went its way unmolested.

During those years, I had, as the boys in the back room would say, a swell racket. Looking back on it, I feel that I could have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents.

Capital is dead labor, which, vampire-like, lives only by sucking living labor, and lives the more, the more labor it sucks.

I looked at all of Itoh's comments in the IPCC AR4 draft. BTW anyone can request and comment on the IPCC drafts and thereby become an official reviewer. Itoh doesn’t explain why global warming is a big scandal. The changes he wanted are minor - mostly typos and wording. If the report was part of such a big scandal, he’s be wanting to make some big changes.

Did this peer review the data?

"The IPCC has actually become a closed circuit; it doesn’t listen to others. It doesn’t have open minds… I am really amazed that the Nobel Peace Prize has been given on scientifically incorrect conclusions by people who are not geologists.” – Indian geologist Dr. Arun D. Ahluwalia at Punjab University and a board member of the UN-supported International Year of the Planet.

Sounds like a real isolationist kook.
This guy wouldn't even honor The Monroe Doctrine.
You have a real knack for picking the most abstract loons in American history and put them on a pedestal. It is a step-up from you normal cut-n-paste jobs, I must admit.
