I love the people who say get ready to cut your salary in half. In less you are under 30 or under 50 and single or divorced (hopefully with no kids), you can not afford to do that.

Pfizer has always been activity driven, and our plight is what you see today.
Lunches, dinners, conventions, displays were the status quo for many years.
Daily, weekly, monthly activity reports, success stories, etc. we're all just busy work because a truly productive day takes maybe 4 hrs. max. Managers would have nothing to do. RM's would have nothing to do. It's worse now in that our business related activities take little more than 2 hrs. Six figures for 10 hrs of actual work makes no sense, thus activities on top of more activities. Enjoy it while we can, as the industry is crumbling more rapidly than anyone would have predicted 5 yrs ago.

Brace for another layoff. Ian has to do something. Reduction in sales, management and support staff.
Time to get really lean until a new blockbuster hits the market.

    Polish up those resumes.

Yep, fill your boat with gas, your personal car, your son's car, stock up on snacks, crank the lunches, office supplies, get your restaurant buds to give you bogus receipts for actual gift cards, cheat, cheat, and cheat....Texas baby!

College educated? Yes. Better than a chimp? No. Too many of you college grads can barely write your names. Too many coming out of college in recent years have any common sense or skills whatsoever.

Great Advice! Get skilled and try to get on with the government OR start your own business.

We used to do EZ speak events like this: Buy the lunch, park outside the office, take it into the practice, excuse yourself for a minute, go to the car, open laptop, set EZ speech in motion, look at your watch, go back inside, enjoy your lunch, return to car at appropriate time, go back in, leave samples, get sigs and bail. Good way to crank that metric up. Other suggestions?
