What is the incentive for drug companies to cure breast cancer or any cancer?
Anyone got the balls to answer?

There is not much incentive to "cure" anything (cancer, diabetes, heart disease, HIV) but there is great incentive to "treat" and help that person live as long as possible for obvious reasons. You want a cure, look to your diet, your lifestyle, your genetic makeup, your support systems, your spirituality or lack there of, your stress and Eastern medicine.

Idiot. Its the same reason all other drugs are sold. Profit. "Cure" breast cancer and you can charge what its WORTH..think total (not just drug) costs for a terminal breast cancer patient. I have no idea what that number is but SWAG it at $500k.

"Cure" it and you can charge $400k, save the "system" $100k and more importantly save the individual's life. Whats that WORTH?

There's no "cure" for cancer when too many oncologists are selling the chemo to the patient. Chemo sales are a huge chunk of the profit.

The gov't would seize any cures so there never will be any.
