Physicians don't want multiple reps

You'd think these people would learn from the industry's past mistakes with multiple reps and pods. Physicians hate when there is more than one rep calling on them and selling the same product. It's insulting and a waste of time to them. A single rep develops stronger relationships and brand recognition and the product is looked as a resource and not a commodity. What a very dumb move.

It's going to definitely anger physicians and hinder our access if they have others going in to try and see them.

Just suck it up and accept that you're now in a pod selling Ofirmev and Xartemis.

No physician is going to like multiple reps talking to them about the same drug. This kind of detailing ruins a company's reputation and it will hurt all of our professional reputations.

What? Do they think the access gets better when there are two or three reps vying to see a busy surgeon for the same drug? No, it pisses the surgeon off as their time isn't repected and we lose.

Mallinckrodt's immaturity in the industry is now showing

The more important point is the conflicting selling message. one is about reducing opioids and giving non opioids first and at an adequate amount like 500 or 1000 mg of apap, cox2 or nsaid followed by opioid.. the other is give an opioid that has a pinch or apap.

the fortunate truth is no hospital rep will waste their time even mentioning the drug and unless the surgical teams potential is high on ofirmev bonus they wont really talk about it either The embarrassing thing is on paper hugh says this collaboration looks good but just like last weeks conference call no one is buying it.

No one is buying anything MNK is selling these days. 2 territories, that's right, 2, hit goal with XXR - when we had the full MNK + InVentiv forces.

Why don't they get their brilliant marketing team to survey physicians on how they feel about hearing from more than one representative selling the same drug? They would get a complete lash back with "NO! NOT AGAIN!!! DONT BE COMING INTO OUR OFFICE PULLING THAT BIG PHARMA CRAP ON US. WE DONT HAVE TIME FOR THAT SHIT"

Seriously? If you dont understand what is meant by "the grand scheme of things" as it relates to the overall industry and all of our places in it in general as well as in our mutual situation here in particular then you truly are not as smart, perceptive or important as you think you are in your own mind. Get over yourself. You arent anymore all that or important than anyone else is and you can and will be replaced by SC and HO just as quickly and easily as everyone else has been. Unfortunately you will find this out soon enough.

I am stunned on the one comma. What was it we were discussing?

Right, the grand scheme of things. Hate to give you the wake up call but this job does not fit into my grand scheme of things. Take some pride in yourself. This job is a joke and we work for jokers. The grand scheme of things is the time not wasted on this job.

Why would you care what your dsm, doctors or upper mgmt thinks.

...this coming from a rep that is at the bottom of the rankings

You're a complete idiot. That's the whole reason. Access is already a challenge and we don't need morons like you making it worse. Judging from your posts, I'm sure all the physicians think you're a clown anyway

What rankings. You sure got my number on that one. How did you know my history shows top third or better. Does that bother you? It shouldn't as rankings are not that important in the grand scheme of things. We work at a foolish company. Foolish people should not be taken seriously.

Glad to see you skipped the commas and went straight to incomplete sentences.

    See you tomorrow.
