Yep, and I still have a couple of MGs, too. Still have the RX-7?

RX-7 is gone. I traded it for a digital camera 3 years ago. I got a 911 right after that and still have it. I do miss my old MGB though - or maybe just the time in my life when I had that car...

I used to have a B. Those things are fun when they work but LUCAS will bring you down

The best thing about Lucas electronics is that you will have to replace them and learn a lot about how to wire a car correctly with good parts!

Actually, once you get them sorted out, MGs are fun little cars and don't look like everything else on the road. Every time I drive one of mine (got two) people look, wave, or give me the "thumbs up". Nice escape from the job when things get a little....

    Re: Lucas

Boy, you must have been up early! Agree on "once you get them sorted out". My current car has been 100% dependable since I got it 4yrs ago. For an '88 it has had no issues other than an A/C leak because the seal dried out from lack of use. I like to perform maint work and tinker, but overhauling a complete wiring set was more than I wanted to take on. I did it on a 72 Spitfire as well as a 72 B. it turned into frustration for a while, but again agree once you have it sorted out it's ok until something else breaks. Even Lucas dashboard switches kept giving me probs.
