Manager in GA who refers to herself as a Leader

Leadership is not a position. You are not a leader because you have the title of manager. Leadership is something that You earn from followers on a day to day basis. Quit calling Yourself a leader when We are forced to smile at Your incompetent coaching, lack of clinical knowledge, inability to read offices that are behind and stressed and You want to ask long open ended question that is sure to put everyone further behind. Being "coached" is probably the biggest torture reps endure when it comes from a self proclaimed leader.

I think it's more of a "worship" type of mentality with AC and NJ. They both worshipped JG and never questioned his racial/mindless reports/cancelling multiple field rides without telling anyone while the rep waited "tendencies". Neither of these could cut it at being a rep today and have no business coaching/leading anyone with more than 1 year experience.

 

Let it go! We all know you are just one individual trying to stir the pot and get others to jump on your band wagon. Give up...it's now happening.

 

Don't know who you are referring to, but real leaders are defined by their power of charisma, vision, values, the ability to organize people to a common goal, and generally in a way that is facilitative. A true leader is recognized as such by others, not through their own self image.

Leadership at AZ is a broader term given to managers by management - wherein title, authority, power over others, the ability to carry out managements desires and directives, are stressed. Cloaked in that mantle one could easily assume they qualify as a leader.

 

What does that even mean? Get a job!
