Times are not the same some day most reps will be contract... flow with the river or go away no choice.....
Normally, I would agree with you. But, this company has done nothing but LIE to us about so many issue. First, with the bonus. They don't even give us accurate numbers! And, with the economy in shambles, I felt I had no choice. Well, my choice should have been to be picky as hell, and collect unemployement like so many do. Lesson learned. We move on.
I would have agreed with you a few years ago but just being employed in the industry still gives you a leg up on those who are on the outside looking in!! Many of us are in contract by choice not because we took the first job offered to us after being downsized. Dont let pharma be your career but a paycheck and benefits while you work on another business or an advanced degree, that has been my plan and so far so good.
