All you Valeant sales reps can thank the Salix reps for getting you the week of Christmas and NY off... We are already making positive changes to this place! Get used to it- soon we will be running this company. SALIX STRONG!!!
It is true...on our conference call with our new CEO this question came up. He agreed to allow the week after Christmas to be off for sales as long as the company is meeting its goals by October. The discussion went on that as long as the Salix part of the business is meeting its goals (we always hit our numbers..) even if the company as a whole wasn't hitting its goals than we would get the week off.
This had nothing to do with Salix. He had already made this decision based on last years response. And 1) NO- you don't always hit your #'s 2) Gone are the days of fuzzy math with inventory levels 3) Your #'s have never been set by Valeant. Please get off of your high horse. This may be a good partnership, but you are not going to come in here and change the world..
You boys don't know the talent pool that is coming to the great Molson/Moosehead land. We already have changed your vacation policy and unlimited bonus structure and stacked rankings are next. You will learn to live the Willow way!!!
Not all salix employees are morons like the above poster. We have a very intense culture of perform or be fired and some of these dudes need to take it down about 10 notches.
