I am a little nervous with the latest Rumor

Word is that with the last buyout "deal" falling through last Wednesday, Management is now looking at another 10-15% layoff. Can someone else confirm this. I heard it from a fairly reliable source, but I want confirmation before I start looking at other research positions.

Layoffs are terrible. Please don't joke about it. I know the layoffs are coming. I know friends and colleagues of mine will likely be let go. And none of us have any control over when or how this happens. I just hope it's soon so this dark cloud can be lifted.

Rumors are rumors. I'm in the know. There are no big lay-offs planned. Some needed pruning will take place to address things that need to change, but most of you will be fine.

Hilarious! How funny it is when in November the remaining Vertex employees seemed overjoyed on the HCV sales force being let go. There were comments saying how lazy people were, how everyone deserved it, and on and on. Sure is interesting now isn't it. So for those of you who were guilty and remained, I hope you can now feel the pain first hand. Karma bitch!
