severance package?

    Hey moron. As said by someone before, read the date. The policies have been updated and you are looking at the older version.

    The date marked on the document is 1/2013. If you say there's a new version, where is it located? I checked two sources (Intranet and benefit site) and both places have the same doc.

    And to the RTP guy who said there was a new policy coming out last week - can you point to the source of the new policy? Or was it just a verbal policy?

    52 weeks is the cap. Call HR support.

    Reading the policy right now and it CLEARLY states the cap is 78 weeks for pay and 52 weeks for medical and dental plans. It is written in English and very easy to understand by anyone who has the ability to read.

    Now that everyone has their panties in a bunch over severance... The real question remains. How long can we fly under the radar, not working, while looking for new jobs?
