So I tune into the "Big Bang Theory" tonight for the first time in years and the Penny character is now a Drug Rep. She made the comment that she likes to turn up the AC in her car before going into an office to, "perk up the girls"! Do female Reps really do that?
Back in the 80's and 90's it happened for sure! Hell, that's a tame example of what female reps did back then. These days most of the ladies in pharma are in menopause. Only reason they have the AC blasting is because they are having a hot-flash. As far as "perking up the girls", their tits have seen better days. Nothing but a heavy duty crane will pick those saggy jugs up! The ladies who are a bit younger are either picking up their kids from school or working out at the gym. It's a sorry state let me tell ya. Bring back the 80's! Those were the good old days for sure!!
And how about Billy Bob Thornton's portrayal of a nerdy geeky Urologist! He nailed it! More importantly, this episode did not even have the Penny character mention making bonus off of Simulations and Assessments. GSK leadership should rejoice in knowing that even the shows writers find our current compensation model to be so far from reality that it would never fly even in a stupid sitcom script!
