The staggering amount of recalls caused by disgruntled production employees is off the charts!
This group is the WORST labor force in Pharma ! Abbott took HPD, a low margin hospital products division composed of overpaid lazy spoiled workers and spun/dumped EVERYBODY, which was ALL 16,000 who then tried to sue Abbott on ERISA violations and LOST !
Word to the wise, Dont Retain these people or You'll be sorry !

You do know Pfizer’s GEP business WILL be spun in the next two years! Hospira’s biosimilars are also of key importance, and Pfizer will be better positioned to capture a share of the biologics market. This acquisition lays the groundwork for a guaranteed Separation of GEP

Hospira WILL add significant value to Pfizer’s GEP segment BUT like I said It Will be SOLD or SPUN OFF as a separate entity. Pfizer’s strategic objective is to focus on core growth platforms in the branded drug market while divesting its ancillary operations, similar to when it carved-out its Animal Health business (Zoetis) and brought it public. Wait and See !
