What are you talking about?The managers - home office? I agree at sales meetings the Marketing guys always have this us versus them mentality. I am tired of being accused of not doing something because of what some random doc had to say about it in a survey. These guys need to get their acts together before they start finger pointing at the sales reps.

 

If they point fingers at you when you're in the room, imagine what they say when you're not around. Charts and spreadsheets are like porn to them. Call them out on it and you'll find yourself looking for another job. That's why people hate this company so much.

 

The spin master all analysis to tell each other what they want to hear. No one here wants to develop a strategy. They just want to report and data crunch and then point a finger.

Won't happen. When I was a year in I was the most senior rep in my district. I hate being here but the pay is ok and having Ranbaxy on your resume is like the plague.

 

The resume part is right. If you stay with Ranbaxy longer than a year companies think its because you couldnt get a job anywhere else.

 

What is going on between Ranbuxy and Sun. Are the people from Ranbuxy moving to the Sun office in Tarrytown? Which they still call Taro. Any news?

Won't happen. They've started recycling messages from years ago and acting like they're new. They think doctors are actually stupid enough to forget getting served this garbage before.

 

What Division are you talking about, steroids, Absorica, Generic? People are putting up silly posts here and most do not really make any sense. If you have a point then make it but to say they are simply recycling messages? Our indications and our studies are what we have and actually, if you sell the Steroids correctly as they asked us to do recently with the article and then the IVA i think you can have more success. I feel i am moving my docs. I am new here so not much history but I like the direction we are going and it is working in my territory. I do not think my predecessor really knew how to sell or at least sell versus the competition.

 

You have to be an amature Steroid mgr talking. Absorica does not have an lVA, and
when one shows the IVA to a MD, it is not credible and they laugh at it. Actually you
might not be a mgr lol lol you could be the only one person in marketing, that is
unqualified for the position. Stop your shifting the blame on other people, for your ineptness. Keep your head above water whoever you are. Good luck

You are nothing more than a clown probably one of those reps who is so scary talented that you only sell on "relationships" and when it comes to a study or an article you could not clinically differentiate your product from the competition if you tried. Why be a downer on a rep that is trying to clinically sell and move market share? You probably do not even work here. Get a life. Also learn how to spell along with learning how to sell. It is spelled amateur dumb ass. and the poster clearly identified herself as a steroid rep with the IVA learn how to read too.

Leadership gets away with a lot of finger pointing and talking behind each others and vertices back. They get away with that because they are all consultants or on the contract.

whom are you talking about? You have a problem go to HR now. Really, what the hell are you waiting for if you have a legitimate complaint about a manager or a marketing person? Some of these posts are simply silly. You have resources now, assuming you have a real issue. nothing will really change in the near term after this thing is signed.

The one screwball from Marketing on the Steroid side is finally gone, so I am expecting things to dramatically improve at least for the next meetings or so. all that guy could do was disparage the sales reps and never really had a plan to move our products forward.
