    Hahahaha hahahaha

Funniest post in a long time. Our sales force is adjusting in size relative to where our sales are headed.
Are our sales expanding? Then neither is our sales force.

With generic pricing and more brand competitors this market is shrinking not expanding. I would be shocked if we don't cut 20% of field next year just so we can make our numbers. Get out while you can.

Conf call today @ Home office ....Reduction in sales force to 125 end of March Q1, then 75 by June 30th...20 Million saved! As market share drops companies cut the sales force to help stop the bleeding. Other rumor possible shift to CRO's....bye

You can thank that scumbag former managed care lunatic Pile-O & his little California sidekick for destroying & losing huge accts like United, Caremark, etc and the rapid rate of market share erosion. Can't prescibe it if it's not covered. Basically he caused these job cuts sooner than later

No surprise there. What you need to understand is that most up and walked away. A few were fired, but most left due to incompetent mgmt. That is a fact. There was every level of bad behavior, from mgers making overt inappropriate advances to more chumming up to their weakest link to get dirt on reps. New hires were strongly encouraged to spy on and report any negative comments or more accurately, rat on any one who told the truth as to the goings on. New hires had a field day and trumped up and made up all sorts of lies, all to get in good with mgmt and further themselves into a promo & a free move cross country. They took whatever means needed to make themselves appear more more professional and loyal. Nothing could have been further from the truth. It was back stab city with mgers treating remaining people like Shit and they did it with contempt, justifying their dirt bag shitting on loyal reps based on new hires comments. So the lesson here is that you need to take this warning seriously. Mgmt here has always been bottom of the barrel and the culture is to slice and dice based on any report of in impropriety, whether there was any truth to it or not. Once a newbie felt threatened by someone, they began back stabbing and sometimes public ally shitting on long time hard working and loyal reps. It was encouraged and rewarded. One of the worst perpetrators slid laterally, while his frat boy buddy got a promo. That was the last straw & people walked. No, they were not fired. Just disgusted & sick of being used and Shit on.

Are you referring to CLs or managed care team?

So stupid. They should reduce the non revenue generating h.o. Folks. Let's see we have over 450 people at this company and 150 sales people, something wrong.

Problem is we let the newcomer to market beat us in managed care and that is where the game is played. How else did they get a 6 share or so in a year. Our incompetent managed care team looks like the rookies in this area. Lets just hope they get their act together soon or we will continue to be blocked and removed from formularies.

Orexo is giving it away, and still just getting above 5%. It's not about market share anymore or do you not pay attention? As for lay offs, please get rid of Marty. He is worthless. Next, anyone associated with the new TA program. What a cluster! New letter going out right at Christmas?? Brilliant plan. Followed by whomever is responsible for the savings cards always being late. Always. No excuse for this f-up over and over. This year it is worse.

Orexo is giving it away, but RP has pissed off the health and they are looking for any alternative. He really screwed up, and we're all paying the price.

Amen. Running around 3 days before Christmas to get these cards to my most loyal doctors isn't what I had in mind. This company used to be on the ball. Now they're always a step behind.

Was on call last week where it was mentioned that several other plans are removing Suboxone in January. Only going to get harder as Drs tell me all the time they are being forced to write Zubsolv by the Health Plans and yes I know our messaging surrounding it but its not working well.

Which plans, and why aren't we being told? IF true this is no way to handle it.

You start letting your competitor and your fears/perceptions rule your thoughts and you are dead on arrival. Better to use your energy to outwit, outlast and outplay. It works and its simple. Just get your ass out there and get to building relationships and the selling becomes a walk in the park. You sit around pissing and moaning about this company and that and you just wasted time you could have spent out selling them. Been there, done that and BTW, never ever put whatever your thoughts/gossip or anything discussed about competitors on here.

You feed their egos and that's not productive for anyone. Its the mark of a loser, not a winner. Yeah, there is reality and your thoughts and your fears and blah blah blah. Get off your butt and get to work. Quit yer whining.

Thanks for the extra stress on CLs and patients right at the holidays. The lack of respect from the home office personnel is shining through!

The reason why a dog like Zobsolv can kick your ass is that now the lazy ass , no sales skills CL's now have to "sell" ... My guess is only the true Pharma Reps will do well... Anyone with a background in counseling say hello to your former 35k job as BIG Pharma will laugh at your resumes! The market shifts to Pain and Addiction without true sales skills you will get cooked during the 5 step interview process! Bye!
