Someone also stated they have not gotten a response to an email they sent either.

In all "fairness" to the HR Dept that is processing the severance packages, do you really think that department is top heavy. I would think they are a skeleton crew as the locations are. Take into account over 1K workers have been riffed all over Rotech land and you will have a slow or no response on some things.

When in doubt of anything, first check your copy of the severance packet to see what the process is...then if they do not follow through contact.

It's easier said than done to wait it out...but they just don't have any one individuals papers to process. I would think also that different states have different rules on how to follow through with such things.

Doesn't put food on the table or pay the bills...but making sure they honor the agreement is the best thing as of now. Best of luck to all employees waiting for their funds.

Oh and for the ones who are saying why didn't they get it one lump sum...do you really think Rotech has that sort of cash hanging around to pay out over 1K employees...why do you think they stagger the pay periods.

Don't be selfish guys. If you were laid off, dont demand money too quickly from a financially troubled company. Current employees and vendors get their money first. If there's any leftover, past employees can get the scraps.

Folks, this idiot is just trying to get an arguement started, just ignore this goof!
