Who's next on the consolidation list?
    Exac, Tornier, SBI?
All three offer something the big boys need, extremity products.

SBI to Stryker, done deal. Seems like a logical move for Stryker too, pick up an outdated ankle that is getting its ass kicked by the competition to go along with a horribly designed shoulder. Exactech doesn't offer a good enough product portfolio for one of the big boys to pick up and Tornier is too costly of an acquisition. Tornier is growing too fast and there's not enough money left for Depuy, Stryker or Biomet/Zimmer to buy them. S&N can't afford to pay their sales reps, so they obviously aren't in the picture.

You forgot Wright Medical, probably the most ripe for a takeout at this time.

S&N chooses to not pay their reps! Wannabe's thinking they're the real deal.
