Oncology at Merck

    Merck has an oncology division?

    No we don't have any oncology products. We just call it oncology. We do sell a GI drug for nasea that's handy after listenng to our execs babble corporate jargon.

    That's outrageous! How do we get away with that? Don't the wall st analysts ask questions?

    Anyone and everyone that had any opportunity to leave did, as did much of the management team. Cream rises, crap sinks. What is left is the crap. And thats who are going to be trying to launch a product that is doomed to fail from the start.

    Its a specialty division that is now filled with primary care people. They couldn't sell a ginger cough drop to a chemo patient.

    In truth we do have several oncology products one of which is Zolinza - sorry to say but there was /is only one rep that sold the product and he carried the company - hail to Pittsburgh

    Which is why I didn't include it but thanks for helping the masses understand just how pathetic this division has been for years.

    The fact that Merck hired LM tell you all you have to know about how bad it is.
