I hope current and former PCCs in other states follow the lead of those in California who won some well deserved back pay!
Note: I believe people should be paid what they earn, including all overtime and bonuses, and I don't agree with shorting people on their paycheck whether intentional or accidental. That said, before you criticize at least make sure you understand what happened .... This money is being paid to individuals who are hourly (not PCCs) who are suing because their BONUSES weren't calculated properly based on the OVERTIME they worked. So basically imagine if you worked 40 hours per week at your usual pay and an extra 5 hours at overtime pay (or 1.5x usual rate, or 7.5 hours). You received a paycheck representing 47.5 hours of work. Then you get a bonus of 5% based on your performance (because you did an awesome job and hit all your goals), but it was calculated based on the 45 hours of work you did, instead of 47.5 hours of work you got paid for. That is what happened. A group of people sued because their bonus was smaller than they should have gotten. And people wonder what's wrong with this country?
Guess the excell spreadsheets lied this time. Wonder if Pete Kelly is teaching his students at Stanford how to cheat employees?
yea we got this stupid shit. it was only like $10. a rep asked the HR rep to give him a list of hours and times and how they calculated the payout and they said they couldn't do it. believe me, im sure the PCCs got this money. Hysterically the email that we got about this was making it seem like PPS was doing this out of the goodness of their hearts. never mentioned that they got sued. so pretty annoying that again we are lied to
No, his new class is titled: How to swindle a trusting foreign national into buying your POS company, then incorporating in Spain so you only need to pay 5% in taxes on your $50 million payday. Yep, this is how the 1% living in Marin County avoid paying taxes. We could all only be so lucky.
What is wrong with this country or this company? PPS cheated their employees and they got busted for it, it is just that simple or else why would they be fined?
Well I wish everyone that was laid off from pps that got a severance that was taxed over 35 % when they received it....would get together and do something about that.
