Abbvies metabolic team in hoping for this approval to extend the life if the metabolic division. They have a sales force in place that is 4x the size of shire and have established relationships with these customers. They will all be trained on Vyvanse at the close of this deal. Doesn't look good for shire employees.

So what? The ADHD market is more than 15 MM patients, BED 2.8 MM. Which established relationships are more important? Plus, we actually know how to sell Vyvanse. GSK tried it once and sucked so badly we risked a lawsuit and terminated the co-promote.

Abbvie is you're daddy! In a client note Thursday, Credit Suisse analyst Vamil Divan wrote that his conversation with AbbVie offered 'reassurance' on the deal, adding that 'despite potential changes to the U.S. tax code that may make inversions less attractive, AbbVie's CFO (Bill Chase) reiterated their view that the Shire deal is compelling even beyond the benefits of an inversion.'

All the reports say deal is a go. And it is clear that The 30 gotten taken care of and nobody else- that's why we got stuck with Abbvie's severance and not Shire's. Who knows if it was purposeful, an oversight, or just self-interest. AbbVie has a conservative mid-west culture and will look out for their own.

This was obviously written by an Abbvie Metabolic's rep, hoping to scare Shire reps into "jumping ship," to ensure their own job security. Our "Metabolic's" sales force call on Primary Care doc's, selling Synthroid & Andro-Gel. It costs Abbvie money to employ this group, but Abbvie values their people & therefore has kept them on our payroll for far too long.

It's embarrassing. You will see for yourself at the 1st NSM. Our Metabolic's sales force are a talent-less bunch of red-necks. With that being said, Shire reps should feel pretty good about job security right now given how Abbvie has treated our Metabolic's group.

We acquired the Metabolic's sales people when we purchased Solvay. The reputation of Shire reps, from what we are told by AbbVie leadership, is stellar. I highly doubt Abbvie would entrust our current Metabolic's sales force with any Shire products, after paying 54billion. There's a reason the only products we let our Metabolic's group sell are Synthroid (which has been on the market for over 70 years) and Androgel (nuf said).

Amusing little troll or an Abbvie rep on a PIP, regardless, anyone buying into this garbage needs mental help.

Shire is expanding, we will be hiring new reps in late October

Anyone trying to sell you that we will be axed in 6 months is a joke, we are the safest BU in Shire and one with the brightest future

    Bye bye troll
