I've found a way to whittle down our location budget a little.
When i get gas with a gas card, before i click the lever down, i suck on the pump funnel (like siphoning).
What happens, is i get a good quart of gas from whats leftover in the hoses/system from the last patron.
Can't believe this works! Just make sure you siphon the funnel BEFORE you click the lever to turn on
4 quarts in a gallon. 18 mpg van. That's over 4 miles Free.

I am a pst 2. I will pass this tip down to my subordinates Monday morning in our after MM driver meeting that I have imposed. My subordinates need to squeeze every drop of fuel they can our of a fillup. Not only does it cost the organization money but it also gives subordinates reason to be off the road. When my subordinates aren't in my warehouse, they need to be doing something productive.
