What if CTLs were allowed to give input & CTRs were empowered?

CTLs. primary responsibility, is to sell the decisions made by out-of-touch HQ folks, a waste of time and talent.

CTRs have no voice, any effort to provide feedback is quickly thwarted and labeled "negativity", a waste of resources.

    So funny!!!

That is the new buzz word around this company..."negativity."
    Have a constructive idea? Negativity!!!
    Have suggestions? Negativity!!!
Have a word to say? Negativity!!!
    Have a thought? Negativity!!

    Get the gist.....?

    Keep yer' mouth shut!!

thats one of many problems ditz.

Managers aren't capable of given input(they have none to give anyway) and reps are not empowered!

This is a bullshit job that is fading. It's all a bunch of lies and everyone knows it.

It's crap but its crap with sweet pie benefit$....

Amidst the piles of stinky, misplaced bull piles......it seems you still need a bud, pal, bro, squeeze or a more cozy arrangement to get a job in this place. The hiring methodology is complex and most people bust their bottoms with study, polish, practice and repeat then still don't get it. Those first 3 high intensity interviews can be deal breakers and few get to the regional dudes thrown....

Bottom line: buddy up for feeling empowered and grabbing that fading fast bullshit job!

Why does everyone continue to overlook the obvious? The main issue is (and has been for quite some time) trying to rectify the "pretend job", you know, the one where you have 8 meaningful and impactful daily discussions with physicians, who in turn alter their prescribing habits due to your overpowering knowledge, sales acumen and charm, with the "real job", the one where you scramble to get anyone with a medical license to scribble their signature on an ipad while you schlep in another carload of Olive Garden to feed a herd of disgruntled overweight nurses and office staff. Somehow everyone seems to overlook the fact that the neutered practitioner, who's arm you're trying to twist to prescribe your drug, is no longer the gate keeper of what gets prescribed. The conflict occurs because these 2 diametrically opposing worlds tend to cancel each other out just like a matter/ antimatter collision

    This is typical...

Management ignoring the rules, hiring and promoting by the kiss my ass, good buddy system.

BS games and politics determining who will go and who will stay...

Its no wonder why so many have jumped off this ship....

This post is the absolute truth. If you disagree, please explain and justify your opposing view. The big pharma field force marketing model is no longer relevant.

Unlike the rules of physics however, the Merck charade keeps going on indefinitely…Because it is so corrupt at this point, the whole structure exists just so management can keep their high paying corporate welfare…theoretically anyway, the whole things should just implode.

Pal-ism.....gets you in and bounces you ahead.
It's the ultimate head shaker...and the sad truth.
Its not what you know, but who you know.....and are willing to AK.

Expect to lag behind if you have not mastered that special little dexterity!
