Poor poor Pharma, struggling against the tide of hindering regulation, and the stifling of innovation.
Pretty disgusting when you next factor in the plight of many employees who will likely caught in the newest cycle of "strategic right sizing" etc. etc.
Now we need a great big budget for parties, team building exercises, relo, settlements, and immense costs for travel, lodging and booze.

Watson was the generics company that bought Actavis, which was a small Swiss generics company. After buying Actavis, Watson changed its name to Actavis.

Actavis bought Warner Chilcott, an Irish based women's health and derm company. Actavis reincorporated/re domiciled in Ireland so as to pay like 12 % less federal income taxes to Uncle Sam.

Actavis buys Forest Laboratories, and the Actavis CEO Paul Bisaro works out a deal with the Forest CEO so that the Forest CEO Brent Saunders runs Actavis.

Actavis (meaning Brent) decides to swoop down on Allergan and save Allergan from Valeant Pharmaceuticals. So Actavis buys Allergan.

And the next step is.......????? Buying Pfizer? Selling to Pfizer? ??????????
