There's a major misunderstanding that numbers don't matter and it's mainly where you live that determine layoffs. The truth is that ZS came up with a very accurate measure to compare representative value to Merck.
CTLs unknowingly collect what seems like irrelevant information then enters it into the field visit document. Quarterly Merck reports this to ZS who runs their proprietary algorithm who's results determine who gets placed.
Oh just to clarify while the CTLs like reps who are positive, the algorithm rates kool aid drinkers lower on ability to work independently in the field. Hope this helps.

They like people who need babysitting? That means they would need more managers!

Sounds like a dumb secret formula. Its one that would keep production down and expenses way up!

Wow......That's opposite of many top companies where efficiency and independent work skills are "must have" requirements.

No it's the opposite. They want independent workers meaning less CTLs needed meaning less high paid babysitters.

Gee, thanks. I feel so, so, so much better about my P.O.S. employer now. It's more ambiguous, meaningless trash form our "leaders".
