Seriously, aren't you feeling the least bit embarrassed by what your division has become? I used to have this job while it was respected. I saw the decline and jumped ship. Now I hear that you are basically being contracted by other divisions, on any product possible. Is there anyone at all standing up for this division and create a better future?

No, no one cares. This definitely was a respected division back in the day when it was Anti-Infectives, run under Hank Loy (Western Region). Ever since those Wyeth yahoos came on board, this division has been steadily declining. Their product that they brought over, tygacil, is a joke that I never even talk about. That's what's embarrassing - selling that product. Atleast Zyvox sells itself. Doesn't seem like we are getting any new relevant products. Writing is on the wall. I don't know why I'm still here.

I'm embarrassed to work at Pfizer. There was a time in my career where pharma companies treated employees, communities and patients as real stakeholders. Now all those groups are continually screwed so executives and large shareholders can get richer and richer.

This is so true. I am not bashing but I am seriously embarrassed in front of peers. They know we are not fully committed to any specific products and at any time, we could be tanked to help another division. My feelings honestly started to change in September when they told us we are to help make up calls, for Eliquis. If we are the premier sales force, why weren't we given it to begin with? Now that they need help making 2 more calls a day, they train us. Maybe we will keep it, maybe we won't. That says nothing more than contract help, at best.

What is embarrassing is that the above post is not admitting was is truly the issue---that Pfizer is a joke and the most dysfunctional pharma co. in the industry. Zyvox selling itself, well it hasn't make goal in over 5 years. Only is going to this year because there was no goal increase. A company that decided to intermix on and off label studies for Tygacil that literally ruined any potential for growth trajectory that it was on before Pfizer took over. The joke is that we actually still have people blaming other legacies for the demise and destruction that was all Pfizer. And a company that would not exist today if it was not for all the drugs that Pfizer took over with the purchase of the other pharma companies. Pfizer R&D has not done squat in R&D since Viagra. Now thats something to be proud of according to the above post. Pfizer will never change with their legacy crap that exist making decisions.

I am not Institutional Sales and based on all of these posts, it is the best place NOT to be. There is no respect for the division and so much anger from the division, it is quite sad. What is your job now anyways?
