All the talks about lay offs due to reps not bringing ROI is complete bullshit. Lay offs may be coming due to lack luster performance, but the reps are not to blame. This drug was fucked from the beginning from the numb nuts in leadership. Why do you think the majority of MS experienced reps left within one year? Because they could see that no one was listening to what works and what doesnt. The ass holes up top were clueless, but made countless decissions that continue to haunt us today. Now the current hiring of novartis numb nuts to fill spots is hurting access to offices because these clueless reps bring nothing to the table. So are lay offs coming...who knows...most of us would probably be much happier if they did. In the meantime, please shut your pie hole and mind your own business.
The SAMs will save us. Their brilliant access and clinical discussions will give Gilenya a 50% market share. The SAM role is a brilliant idea. Most of the KAMs don't leave their homes and don't know 1/2 of their KOLs. KOLs say " who is the little guy who comes by once a year?"
OP - We keep telling and telling senior leaders that these PCP tactics and metrics DO NOT work in MS industry. They don't want to listen to us. So for 99 percent of us this is just a paycheck until Genentech launches Ocrelizumab then we will all jump ship. And they will make the same mistake again. Hire from Primary Care.
