Only survivors will be NGNs, KAMs or SAMs (reduction in these) and Medical Science folks. It's been a good ride but at HQ we will see some cuts in MSBU. Good luck!

OP is absolutely right. MSBU is done as we know it. It has failed miserably and Basel is done with us. the FDO process is one the Neuro's do not want to deal with unless absolutely necessary. Primary care tactics and hires have lost us any credibility with Neurology KOLs. NGNs and Medical will be kept because they add value. Some KAMs/SAMs whatever you call them now will be kept to "entertain" the KOLs and we maintain a presence. If you think as an ABL and Specialist you will be kept you are in for a very rude awakening. Very rude. Get out now.

What I can say is that this will happen and your denial or calling me names or saying I am unemployed will not change a thing. MS Reps and ABLs are done. Do you really want to stay even if there are no lay offs? I can see the long time Novartis people staying because no other MS company would want them. The people with a lot of experience and multi companies, get out now. Don't wait. Leadership decisions are so poor what makes you think it will improve? All the recent turnover proves there are other MS jobs available

 

Don't go to Genzyme. I hear its aweful over there. Management is terrible. At least Gilenya sells far more than Aubagio.

 

Gilenya has sold more than Aubagio because Gilenya was 1st to market. If you look at New Prescriptions the 2 drugs are close.

Genzyme management terrible? Maybe but well worth the risk to leave a management team at Novartis who is terrible and can't admit their daily mistakes.

Novartis is the worst company in the MS space in terms of respect from the KOLs

Unfortunately OP is right. If this was Aubagio then we would be okay. This is Gilenya the first oral in the market. 1 billion after 4 years is pathetic. First of its class and outdone by an inferior product like Tec which is BID and has a titration? Are you kidding me? This is due to MSBU leadership and also the fact that most recent hires are from Primary Care. Even the latest RD hire has zero experience with MS. No wonder our KOLs do not respect us!
