Probably delayed because they have no idea if and when it will get final approval.
Legal department is trying to figure out how they can defend themselves from Amgen suing the crap out of them and dragging the launch thru the mud.
HR is trying to figure out if they can hire all the Neupogen/Neulasta people who were terminated in 2014.
Those are just a few of the possibilities!
    Good luck to all

Don't hold your breath for any of the positions if you did not work for Amgen before! A lot of former Amgen reps out there looking for work. " doctor I sold you Amgen's Neupogen but now I am selling you Neupogen Biosimilar (generic by another name) and now Neupogen is bad, so yesterday.
Doctor to rep "you are an idiot" get out and don't come bacck!
    Neupogen will always be better!

You don't know what you are talking about. Amgen reps have no better chance than anyone else. I can't tell you how many offices are just waiting for the day they can tell Amgen to go screw themselves. No one would say neupogen is bad but Amgen certainly is. May be about 10% of the hires coming from amgen. Sure, they know the market but are spoiled, lazy, big pharma minded with that amgen superiority complex.

Last post says it all. Amgen "Oncology Reps" are exactly that. Those of us in the field know what you are talking about. Most of the have rarely worked more than two days a week much less three and most onc offices only let them in for food and after work dinner and drinks! Round tables! Lol

They have not given out financial offers or set a start date. It is dragging on and on.

Why spread such a non-truth? People come here to network and be in the know with processes and your nonsense is not helpful.

Yes this is dragging out, consider all the moving parts to a first ever drug and the time frames keep moving back and forth.

But please stop with the nonsense.

I was told this week that offers would be going out next week to give those who need to give two week notices a chance to work them out and planned start date of 2/23 for most.
Yes it takes time to set up a new division and run through close to 100 background checks etc. order cars and computers and for HR to get benefits in line.

Kinda like Novartis does when the patents run out.
If you cant pay for delay, panic and lawyer up.
Amgen is going into the biosimiliars market too...they gonna petition themselves?

    Is all BS.

Accepted an offer but not sure if I should've negotiated more on salary. What are people getting paid and did anyone get a sign on?
