But back to the OP. Why not? It's shown in studies that families that go to church do better financially and are less of a drain on society. Since church's no longer have the right to practice their beliefs and the state thinks they control the church, why not?

While were at it, instead of aid for single moms, implement a tax per child and a large tax on the man and woman, and parents of minors, for unwed motherhood. After all, it's just "shared responsibility", right?

Here is what is even funnier. The resident conservaturds attempted to counter that a greater percentage of those getting welfare transfer payments are in blue states. But here is the rub, not only are the blue states taking care of their own poor, they are also funding RED states as well as you can see their backwater paradises get far more from big gubmint than they pay in taxes.
