Like the Italian cruise ship Costa Concordia:
    Captain shows off his skills
    Ship runs aground
    Takes on water
Captain says everything is under control
People start to drown as the ship sinks
Captain sneaks off ship in his gold plated boat (AKA Golden Parachute DC will get when he leaves)
Ship sinks with many lives lost (many firings and people quitting)
Ship rusts away and is hauled off for scraps

Sounds exactly like Cardinal health... don't it?

couldn't have said that any better myself. Only thing I would add is #13, competition does it better and is easier to work with than Cardinal.

DC should be #1. His decision to scramble the sales force into one chaotic mess was beyond stupid; his arrogance is only exceeded by his ignorance when it comes to business savvy. This guy has infected and polluted the Medical Segment Group unleashing a string of resignations due to no morale, no hope, no future, and no money.

You act as if they are screwing up when this is actually their plan at Cardinal Crap Health. No severance to pay, get everyone to just quit. Hire young & dumb broke college grads that can be easily molded. Mindless obedient fools for cheap is what they want, and they are getting them.

    Cynical, but true.

Well, that's kind of giving them a lot of credit for being intelligent enough to drive people to do this self attrition from Cardinal. I myself am torn, could they (Cardinal leadership) be that smart? Or are they just that bad? I tend to lean more towards the fact that we have idiots at the helm who have know idea what they are doing, and thus causing this exodus.

I don't think they are smart enough, I think they are just incompetent.
