Every week I keep hearing about more and more people leaving DSI. It's insane. The products here are soo tired and managed care is playing a huge role now more than ever. The more people that decide the leave, the less packages the company will have to give out in the near future. It's how they all operate now.
this company will not exist in a year at present rate of decline financially. AstraZeneca is being bought by Pfizer (layoffs) and merck announced major layoffs. If you think having DSI on your resume will get you job over these thousands of people when they hit the job market then you are an idiot. Anyone hanging on to a job with this little pos company will regret not leaving two years ago.
This sort of thing happens all the time. If you stick it out, and get a minimal severance, take it and move on to something else. Pharma is finished and medical device is struggling as well. Do something that you enjoy. The money may or may not be there. But you will have piece of mind. This is pure insanity right now.
