Fact. My spouse was one of them. Received the call last night to meet with the manager this morning. This group that they laid off were brought in to penetrate accounts that didn't have any Xience or other Abbott products on the shelf. They hit the field last December and now they are laying them off. Some of the accounts have contracts that aren't even up to expire yet. My spouse was able to get Xience on 4 shelves in 10 months and has another that will hit this month. Poor business practice. Oh, 60 days of severance was provided, but they would extend it 60 more days if you sign a non-compete, we will not be signing the non-compete. Amateur hour at its finest.
