PEOPLE, passion....
Don't you just love the message about "people" for the mantra of Pristiq? They are letting half of us go and the first word that they choose is "people"? Now that's not right.....

Re: PEOPLE, passion....
I am in vaccines and do not have access to the pc samples. Can I get some Effexor from you guys. I think I may need some. And while you are at it some Protonix samples before they are all gone, seems I may be getting an ulcer. From the wch group I need some advil, and chapstick. I may have to pucker up and kiss some new companies hiring managers ass. Oh yes, don't forget the Preparation H! We all will need that. From the whc unit. Does the vaginal creme help men after we have been screwed? Just wondering about the dual purpose, or does it just lube to go in easier?

When they say "Passion" I think they mean it in it's Lenten context. They intend on torturing and then nailing at least half of us.

Re: PEOPLE, passion....
It was unbelievable or maybe it was, that Bob Oliver sent out the voicemail this a.m. trying to sell us on Pristiq! Guess he thinks we have forgotten about PI and he does not need to address it now.
Carry on- business as usual. Yeah, sure Bob, whatever you say!

bobo sounded really, really excited on his voice mail that I just wanted to sit up out of my driver's seat this morning and honk my horn in rush hour.
Really, that guy's voice is now synonymous with the feeling you get right before death.

Re: PEOPLE, passion....
Wow, I was truly inspired by his message this morning. I think it brings a lot of hope for many of us. Pristiq is going to be a blockbuster. I know Lilly is running scared. I am really looking forward to Las Vegas. Oh shit, I just thought of something. Pristiq launch is in Las Vegas. Does this tell you something? Pristiq as a new antidepressant is a GAMBLE. That is why they are holding the launch in Las Vegas.

Re: PEOPLE, passion....
PEOPLE - 1/2 of you will be gone in less than 27 days
PASSION - There is no passion now, but for those that remain with Wyeth, we will bribe the passion out of you by taking you to Vegas for 4 days.
PERFORMANCE - You thought it was hard to reach your performance incentive before? Wait until 2nd quarter
PRISTIQ - Good luck selling both Effexor XR and Pristiq at the same time. So Dr., would you like to hear about my antidepressant that has been around for 12 years, with proven efficacy with the ability to titrate the dose as need to better care for each patient's needs that will have generic competition in 4 months, or would you like to hear about my brand new antidepressant with one dose, less indications and less evidence of efficacy? You want me to choose, let me check with my bonus plan to see which one pays more.

Re: PEOPLE, passion....
Who the hell has the job of coming up with these project titles and mantras?Commercial Excellence, Project Impact, and now the 4 P's. To have "People" even be part of their schtick hyping Pristiq is truly insulting. I remain convinced that the view from an outsider about Wyeth being gutted and wounded for years is going to happen, considering the ridiculous content of what we do hear, and more importantly, what we don't hear. The big shooters might have to give up on that request for passion.

Re: PEOPLE, passion....
The message was like a really bad clip from a comedy. I have been with this company for over 19 years, this is by far the most laughable thing I have encountered. This toped just about every hollow word I have heard so far. But I don't think that would be the last. It seems like they don't have a clue and I will never under estimate their stupidity any more. BP, JM, GG, BO, and BR are just class act. Clown class that is...

When he defined people, it was patients and physicians with no mention of the PEOPLE who will promote this drug.

Vaccines here, yes, we had the great pleasure of hearing that great butchering of our company's name ---it's W Y E T H--- what was your problem? Did you have a dick in your mouth while sending out a company-wide message? Next time, brush your teeth, gargle and speak clearly into the telephone--your message is going to be heard by thousands of colleagues.
I swear to christ, it is no wonder this company is going to hell---this shit-for-brains can not even pronounce the surname of founders John and Frank WYETH. We have a french ceo who has been AWOL since PI was announced. An african american mouthpiece who says so much yet says so little. A company e-mail telling us about homos and transexual meetings in collegeville. A USMT that gets it's clock cleaned repeatedly by the FDA, TEVA Ambush, pipeline pipedreams and a bord of directors that is boring wall street--what the FUCK is going on here? Why am I concerned? When you fucks get your shit together, please send me an e-mail. Until then, I'm kicking back and chilling out. No more stressing by me over your fuckups. And it truely amazes me how you enrich yourselves at the company option trough during this period of incompetence. How you fucks sleep at night is beyond me. Mission, Vision, Values..... My Vision is a Mission to Mars for all of you with in which then or company Value will skyrocket! USMT--Fuck You.

Re: PEOPLE, passion....
the funniest part of this whole message is that you think only 50% are gonna get axed...You think Pfizer waxed 40% of their sales force to train 50% of the Wyeth Sales force, THE PFIZER WAY!!! 80%+ will be gone....

Re: PEOPLE, passion....
Totally agree. My district is on drugs. Really good ones.
"Maybe this deal won't go down. Did you get the message from the DM?" - Wrong deal is done. We're getting canned.
"Wow, Pfizer laid off a lot a reps in our area. That has to be good for us, right?" Wrong Pfizer cut their fat. Do you really think they're going to keep us just because they got rid of their reps? NO!
"Let's have a POD meeting to discuss our routing." Sure let's do that. Sounds like a great idea right now. Let's make sure we're covering all of our important docs for a company that is going to let us go soon.
"Today I was with the manager and he said merging with Pfizer more than likely will be a good thing." For who? Stockholders. Give it up people. Positive attitude is one thing but reality is another. This is not a "good thing" for anyone with Wyeth on their name tag.
GIVE IT UP PEOPLE. THE DEAL IS DONE AND THE MAJORITY OF US ARE GOING BYE, BYE. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE. THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN BACK-HANDING US FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS AND YOU THINK IT'S GOING TO STOP NOW? WE"RE ALL ADULTS HERE - I THINK. WE"RE DOOMED!
