Oncology and Virology Sales Forces are Merging

Announced today. Oncology VP is taking over both field forces. More info will be given on Friday am conference call. Several at home office were let go due to this sales force combining.

Don't know if we will have dual reps (virology/oncology) on a single force selling multiple products. We should know more after conference call on Friday. The message was left on our voicemail last night and then dm's followed up. We don't have any specifics at this time.

Herm is a different "Layer" than Greg & Craig.

The only person who believes Tim Moon is great is Tim Moon. He's cocky because he's insecure. I worked briefly with Tim Moon. He has issues, and despite having a file thicker than the wall of China, he's still employed by SP. He's a great example why SP continues to head south. SP refuses to get rid of corrupt and incompetent individuals.

Apparently this is the model that Global will adopt.

No they weren't! UK has Oncology/Anti-Infectives/Anaesthesia Business Unit and Virology/Substance Misuse Business Unit which is no change from before.

Best bet is to go with a bio-tech company and get into a real pharma job! I'm interviewing with Celgene!!! lol

Don't know if we are screwed or not but at least Margerite admitted that there will be layoffs. Well, since she won't be specific if I will have a job or not til end of July, I'm not working til I find out if I have one. I figure a 6 week vacation will do me good!

You're a self-righteous jerk. that man-woman gets on the call and tells us that she knows how many and probably who is going to be let go but she's not going to tell us for a month and a half. Please. But you're right. Let's all take the high road and go out and grow share so we can be "exited." Let's all leave on a high note.

I'm a self-righteous jerk? I think not. Perhaps you're a pharma brat who has forgotten that your car, your gas, your insurance, your paychecks and your benefits are all courtesty of the very company you malign right now.
