Mazda 5 drivers out there - ? for you
Hi out there!
I have been driving my Mazda 5 for exactly 5 days and it has by far the worst ride of any car I have ever owned or ridden in! They put 17" wheels and 50 series tires on it for a "sporty" ride, but "jarring" is the adjective I would use! It's like they forgot to put shocks in - any little bump in the road sounds like a small bomb went off in the back and all my samples jump up at least 6 inches. Heck, two days ago I pulled off a side street up a little incline into traffic going 50 mph onto a main road (so I had to accelerate to get into traffic) - the car jumped so much that I almost hit my head on the roof and the loud boom startled me so much that I felt glad I kept control of the thing! I know that I should have test driven it before I chose it, but I need the 6 passenger capability and I could never have imagined that any new car over $20,000 would ever be like this!
Has anyone else had this experience? I honestly thought that maybe the factory forgot to install shocks, but I checked and they are there...

Unless your 5th and 6th passengers do not have limbs, it will only seat 4. Notice I did not say comfortably.

here's a novel idea..if you need room for 6 and don't like the free Mazda 5, go buy Caravan.....or should the company buy you a personal car too....spoiled

Go buy a used mini van and use that for your family travels. Or, maybe when you pick you next car, get a sedan and throw one of the kids in the trunk.
otherwise....your complaints do not deserve any sympathy at all.

I was just looking to see if anybody else had experienced this problem too, but I should have known that I would just get asshole comments...

Nope, asshole comments are made by people who complain about their 'free' company car.

I do not drive one but know a couple that do. They drive like death traps in snowy conditions.

I think she is more upset about the 'shitty unit' that her man has. Doesn't that happen because of unclean butt sex?

No problems with mine until today. By far the worst vehicle I have ever driven in snowy conditions. "Death trap" definitely describes it. And before any asshole bitches that I should shut up and appreciate my free car, I do appreciate it. It just sucks in the snow.

Here's a novel thought for the poster. Spend some of your own time researching vehicles and buy one with your own money.

Good advice. Even better...maybe the idiot poster could have done her homework prior to picking the 5-series. Ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
The fact that BI actually provides a selection of fleet vehicles is great. The key to selecting one is to research that one that will best fit your needs.

you don't buy clothes before trying them on, do you? Buy a house before taking a look at it?

Out of all the fucking choices of cars, why the fuck would anyone pick the Mazda5? Especially if you live where it snows. That is by far the biggest piece of shit on the road. I wouldn't order it, if it was the only car BI offered because it is dangerous. This company has some of the dumbest mother fuckers on the planet. Holy shit!
