Default Hey Pfizer Reps - Do you still think your company is great?

Was talking with a Pfizer rep a few weeks ago and he informed that Pfizer wouldn't treat him like other companies have treated their reps. Friday - GONE! None of these companies give a damn about any of us. That's why I work for me - not my company!

Retained DSS rep here: yes I still like Pfizer even after survivng two layoffs. It's a job. Pays well and I enjoy working with my territory doctors.

You say you work for yourself yet are on cafepharma trying to belittle reps. Very professional.

Actually, you are the "unprofessional".

I agree with the guy working for himself. That is why he can afford the luxury of coming here on CP and post. He isn't stealing from no one!

On the other hand, you and I are stealing from Pfizer, because we should be working (unless we do it after hours...unless Pfizer owns that too)

We work on salary and our time is our own. That's what makes this job so good. Work hard when you need to, and take time with your family when you want to. Anyone who thinks different is probably not with Pfizer, or is trying to sell something. We're not buying. Those left at Pfizer will do very well.

Lol Re: Hey Pfizer Reps - Do you still think your company is great?

I'm looking forward to work this coming week, knowing there won't be an army of robots out there destroying access (any further than they already have) for us reps who actually have information health care providers want.

are you feeling alright? Your post makes zero sense. If you want to be taken seriously, think before you post.

If we are a "bigger bunch of assholes", you have exposed yourself as an impotent, piece of garbage, and obviously jealous of Pfizer reps because you failed the interview. It is also obvious you have an axe to grind since you have started several, similar threads on the PFIZER board. If you are so heartless to be posting such shit on this board after the Jan 30 slaughter, when you meet the BIG one, you will be forced to repent for your hatred and anger.

I truly feel sorry for you. I will; however, make a contribution to the fund presently being collected so that you may enroll in Anger Management Classes. As for being an idiot, I am afraid there is nothing we can do to help you in that department.

GROW UP

not so fast. there are still way too many reps out there. Hell, Novartis has yet to do a big lay-off. They have something like 12 PC sales forces alone. AZ not much better. We still need more industry lay-offs.

Oh, Novartis will have layoffs, as will AZ and everybody else. By the time the OBAMA! administration is done, this industry will be 1/10th the size it is now. And even if Gramps & the hot chick would've won, the same crap would probably be going done (well, maybe we'd only lose 80k jobs instead of 100k, but you get the point).

Good luck to all. I don't wish ill on others, but ill is will come to all who've chose this as a profession. We are Dinosaurs and the big comet just hit. Now it's just a matter of time...

Sorry access is gone and it isn't coming back especially now that a lot of doctors are joining big medical groups and have 40 patients to see a day. They have little time for reps.

Ex Pfizer here, if you are so happy with pfizer and they treat people well. Sign your name to be recognized by Pfizer and you can be the person that write all the talking points in response to the Bextra settlement, the Celebrex settlement, the Lyrica settlement the ........... the cahntix Settlement.

You are exactly right. None of them care about employees. This is not Japan where you get a job for life. I am not going into business for myself; however, I am back full-time in a career I enjoy and where you are valued. I am a Nurse full-time now, instead of just part-time. This is an environment where you can really help people. Trying to get them to take medication they don't need is nothing but greed. The Lord answered my prayers on Jan 30.

Hey there Mr. Captain of Industry. So she may help humanity by cleaning a bedpan on occasion. Meanwhile, you are daily chasing signatures, lying about calls, sucking up to receptionists, while getting zero respect from your customers. So Mr. Caterer, who has the sh!tty job?
