Default sample count off?what now

OK. My sample count is off and I can't figure out why or where it went wrong. I'm not doing anything shady. Sample accountability is the one that notified me and now are doing an audit. What now. What if we can't figure out where it went wrong?

Then your ass is fired. Pretty simple. Once you are contacted by sample accountability, you might as well start putting together your resume and applying for new jobs. It is over. Sorry.

Just be honest and use the description - don't know.
If you force adjust or attempt to deceive on your audit you will be de-selected.
I went through the audit process for less than 20 pkgs of one product while being cases off on another. Bit the bullet and got a clean slate. Took me 12 hours to do the audit - on GSK time.

You're screwed. They only audit when you're outside the limits of what is acceptable. I would call Sample Accountability and speak to a manager and tell them that whoever you spoke to told you that you will probably lose your job. Sample Accountability is known for this, and they have been spanked more than once for casually threatening a rep their job before the audit is done.

this happened to me. after going through my call cards for the past year and being unable to reconcile to their satisfaction, i was written up. you will not lose your job unless you've got other things on your record or have already been written up before. sample compliance is not all big and scary. really, they're not that evil if you're honest. it did suck, though. but i'm still here and more careful when i check what samples are shipped to me. i'm pretty sure that's what did it- just acknowledging shipments of samples without checking the actual shipment first.

Thank you sample accountability! I would try to reconcile before they come, figure it out and just let them know where you went astray. Do not listen to the above. they are scary; they will fire you. If after your audit, you are called to meet with your regional, etc, call the erc and ask for paperwork to go out on leave while you look for another job.
