Banghead FRONTLINE AT COSTCO AND TARGETS

Merial has sold out. Now Costco and Targets have Frontline everywhere. They have really sold all the Vets that have carried their product and endorsed it to their customers and got so greedy. It is terrible what they have done. Merial will not have any more business from me.

Yeah right, everybody says this but they just keep on buying from us. Who else are going to buy animal health products from, Dr. Ford says we are the best. He is the expert, board certified.

Did you just start with the company or in the industry? FL has been in Costco and Target for a couple of years. Costco has had it displayed in plastic packaging with UPC codes all summer. Price is the same no matter what the size. Business is business. Get over it. If the Vets cannot figure how to keep the business in their clinics, that is their fault. They are just as greedy as the company thinking they can take a product that takes about 5 cents to produce, pay too much for it from Merial and mark it up another 100%.
The consumer is the only one being ripped off.

Your correct Merial has been ripping off Vets and consumers. Now that there is a great variety of products out there that Vets can use I am going to start to boycott their products. Maybe even try that Vectra 3D that a poster mentioned earlier.

Due to the fact that in 2010 Fipronil goes off patent we should start selling to 7-11 and RiteAid-- I am going to call them.

Default Volume of DVM Sales

If Merial is selling to CC, Target and Walmart. Why should they care if we divert and stop restricting how much we buy. I should be able to buy all I want and keep my salesrep "in business". Dr. DVM

You can buy all you want. Merial cannot legally stop you. Restricting trade is a serious offense and the company will pay dearly to any legitimate account that they refuse to ship, unless there are payment or credit issues etc.
If you have a credit line of a million plus, then go for it. They cannot stop you.
