It appears that I'm the only idiot on cafepharma that didn't take the package since all the updates have stopped. I guess it's my job to turn out the lights after everyone else leaves.

Don't feel too bad: I left voluntarily early on after the axe started falling in other divisions. So I got no package either.

Keep the updates coming if you have them. I continue to be fascinated by how this all unfolds.

Most of what is left are unable to string together more than a few syllables without a spell checker. The last of the talent is now offically gone. A bunch of ADHD retards who have no business even wearing a shirt and tie are all that remain, as they have absolutely nowhere else to go.

All that is left is the sticky scummy fungus in the cracks that is almost impossible to get out without a serious chlorine treatment.

My bother works for HP and his now part of the Lilly on-site team. He claims that the Lilly IT folks are like spoiled children, unable to do anything for themselves. And they constantly throw tantrums when someone else won't drop everything to do something for them. He said this is going to be a long 2 year assignment for him.

Tell your brother not to worry. The Lilly brats will all be gone within 12 months except for a few token diversity representatives that are there only to help senior management meet their PM objectives. If he can just hang on, he'll soon only be working with skilled professionals.

I'm one of the Lilly brats that took the package. Good luck trying to put some real business professionalism in Lilly IT. You'll find their incompetent management team to be the biggest challenge.

I pity the fools that did not take the package. There's no long-term future for them at Lilly and it's much harder finding a job when you've been laid off versus having left voluntarily. Many businesses are only interviewing those who are still employed or left voluntarily. They will not even entertain the idea of interviewing someone who has been laid off. They're considered undesirables in an employer's market.

Are you really that stupid? Separated from Lilly is separated from Lilly. Prospective employers won't know the difference unless you tell them. moron.

It is bad enough having Lilly stamped on your resume. I don't think it really matters if you left voluntarily or not at that point, you just blew the interview.
