Default "ET" management

The King IT "ET" department is one of the biggest problems with the company. Most of the people are decent and talented but the management is horrific. You've got the manager who is sleeping with his direct report, and the upper level manager who worships GS, and the VP who wants to talk about football and tv shows but never business. And don't let me forget about the Manager who sits in his office all day and throws edicts out without a clue. There isn't a single manager in the department that is competent.
No one wants to take the time to listen to the customer. The business needs technology and support rather just installing what ever package the customer finds that might help them do their jobs.

It's going to be a shock when they announce the layoffs and 20% of the "ET" department is gone. But they will not cut management this time..... The only hope is a buyout, but you have to have a product line to get bought out and that's a whole other topic.

You are very foolish to post something like this. I'm quite sure ET could work with 10% reduction, but 20 is unrealistic which indicates you have an issue with analyzing information.

Doesn't matter now - we are all out of a job with the Pfizer purchase anyways.
