Default MyoSure Lawsuit - Smith&Nephew vs. Hologic

So is MyoSure going to end up like Adiana and be pulled from us down the road because of patent infringement? The story they tell us seems faintly similar to the story they told us regarding Adiana and Conceptus' lawsuit.

Adiana wasn't pulled due to a lawsuit, so what is your point?

^^^^This. It was pulled because it was a steaming pile of dogshit. If you were already sterile, and then had an Adiana, you would have probably ended up pregnant. Maybe we should have marketed it to IVF docs. Just sayin' ...

We did market it to IVF docs.

I'm just glad we don't have to sell it anymore, I hated that product.

Hey jackass.... Nobody was doing Adiana's on sterile women. We were doing it on women having Novasures.... and Adiana's sterilization rate remained identical to Novasure's. Just sayin'....

I have been interested in trying to get a job with Hologic. Is there talk now that Myosure will be pulled? Seems like this company had a good history or is it just one more device company that is in a constant state of mess? Don't need another one of those.

Myosure isn't going anywhere. The company is fine. The key is not the company, it's your manager. Mine is a good guy. He leaves me alone and let's me work. From what other reps have told me though, he is the exception not the rule. If and when you interview, make sure you interview your manager as much as they interview you.

Good luck!

Ithink what people have to start doing with these managers is taking them aside quietly during their ridealongs and tell them that if they don't get off their backs they are going to kick the crap out of them. A friend of mine did this and his manage backed off of him. Going to do if I ever get in this situation again.

I remember when all the MDM's were saying the same thing about Adiana, "Don't worry about the lawsuit, Adiana isn't going anywhere". What a joke. I'm not holding my breath. Oh wait, never mind. Adiana was not "financially feasible". I'm sure it had nothing to do with the clinical efficacy, or rather, the lack of which. Upper management knew about all the problems it was having in the market and all they did was lie to us and tell us how great the product was. That says a lot about a company. Make no mistake, this is a bad place to be.

The managers here are the worst in the industry - a real motley crew of a bunch. A group of rag-tags and backstabbers who have kissed so much ass their lips are permanently brown. The type of people who would turn on their own mothers for a nickel. They are all trying to fast track to upper management and will do anything to get promoted, including throwing your ass under the bus to save their own. A bunch of chicken hawks. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. You have been warned!

I heard that the starting salary is about $70K with potential of making 25K per qtr. Is that accurate? What are people making at this company in the field?
