RIP KCI
We have no team chemistry...this job is becoming more stressful than its worth. Then NSM is like a funeral. No energy, everyone is whispering at breaks and everyone is looking around like they are expecting people that will not return. KCI is just a s-hole right now and I am embarrassed to work for them. We are losing marketshare everyday. We are working for a company that has one goal...sell for more than you bought it for (good luck). Congrats to everyone that left, I promise you are better off. And to all of the people on this board that say they were kept on because the busted their tails...shut up, I know two d-bags that I sat with this morning at breakfast that work about 25 hours a week.

So aptly put..looking around for people that will not return. This company is a shell of it's former self and I don't mean former under Burzik rule. It's sad when you see who is here in certain areas and you know who they replaced. It's hard to even look at some with a straight face.

I don't know what meeting you were at but we thought it was great!! Everyone in my district and region thought it was great If you didnt like it and not on board, then you've got more issues than feeling bad that someone on your team was let go. Difference btwn cb and jw is that jw gives a shit even though he had to restructure. He actually came and talked to our table at the tailgate dinner. Cb NEVER did that. You're crazy

Yes JW was a breath of fresh air but if you think the overall mood of the meeting was up beat you need to stop drinking the kool aid. Basically we were told that we can do what we did before with 1/3 of the sales force and much bigger responsibilities...not to mention we have no budget for expenses, no charity cases, and 8-10 new companies in NPWT that were not here a year and a half ago. Great motivation!!!

If you're writing this, then you obviously don't work in corporate. JW is sleazy, egotistical, and doesn't give a sh*t about anyone but himself.

Re: RIP KCI
Completely agree. JW only cares about himself and his opinion of his career. Leaves early every Friday to go back to his home in Boston. No committment at all from him. He's a short timer just trying to resell this pos.

I'm not even in Sales and I couldn't agree with you more. It is the same at Corporate. I, as well as the hundreds of employees I deal with ever week, all feel the same. I wonder why they are not sharing the full details of the survey like they have in previous years. Why? Because it still shows the same thing. They do NOT care about the employees.
If you have been here for more than 5 years, you can make #WAY# more money somewhere else. Isn't that why we all work? I can do the right thing for the patient anywhere. I'm going to sabotage as much as I can while I can.

Amen. Tired of fixing stuff for idiots who lack accountability. Tired of carrying their workload. Of course, no one really knows how it all comes together. Those people all left.

Re: RIP KCI
You know we were doomed when the KCI board decided to hire JW. Can someone please tell us what he accomplished at SN? They had little to no marketshare in the npwt arena, and now his direct task is associated with that! WTF, really the spin is that the company's assets will be either sold off into many different pieces or we will gain me too versions of advanced dressing to sell. The latter was indirectly mentioned on the last town hall. The plan to fight competition was never addressed. The mood at NSM and these posts truly shows how DEMOTIVATED the field reps are. A plan without an action plan is just a day dream...

Re: RIP KCI
So far they have succeeded in alienating clinicians and hospitals that were faithful to kci because of the long standing rep relationships. So they radically change things as if that will motivate us. Only helped piss of the clients and the reps.

Not making anymore money, quota is higher, territory is bigger, losing customers everyday to S&N and others. Noone is making more money than they did last year except some of the garbage reps that they kept that are mooching of laid-off reps accounts. My guess if performance improvement plans start rolling out in Q4 so they can siliently layoff more reps one by one without having to pay severance...I have heard we did not bid on Medicare Round 2.

Re: RIP KCI
For all the KCI reps currently seeking other employment, DON'T make the mistake of moving to Applied Medical! They are even worse, and never had a good morale, don't pay worth a shit and have the highest turnover in the industry. I'm trying to get out and just applied for KCI job online. Guess I will just have to wait a little longer, because don't want to get in another crappy situation!

KCI MAKES APPLIED LOOK LIKE MEDTRONIC.
Seriously Applied although shitty is a step up from KCI.
