Angry Re: Duodopa is the future

Duodopa is indictated and will only get the indication for severe cases, less than one percent of Parkinsons patients. This type of drug will not support a sales force of any size, nor a company.

Don't think anyone is saying that. If you know of a small, specialized drug that can support a national sales team of 1200, the Cardio Care team is ready to jump on it.

Those people depicted in the movie "Awakenings" who went back to sleep after the drug stopped working. Who else? They would express their excitement but unfortuanately are catatonic and unable to buy stocks.

This should help us ride out the rough waters ahead. This drug will be a watershed for us.

Appropriate name. All you dopes are excited about a $117 million dollar drug w/ 35 reps selling. What a future. You just got teary eyed when you saw the poor "return of the living dead" fella come to life after he hooked his pump up. It is great that 65 people in this world will benefit.

Don't you worry your silly little head about it. The drug will probably be a success, not a block-buster mind you, but still a success nonetheless.... however it will be a success because of the co-promote that is being worked on right now, not because of the AbbVie field sales force.... think "co-promote" to yourself and see what pops up into your mind...
You are not alone.....

It is a tertiary drug that probably won't even get Medicare to pick up the cost.

Maybe if the management took some, something positive would be accomplished around here. I am really exhausted by the catatonic paralytic management around here. Do it Dopes is our future. Do It you Dopuhs.

Good golly... Is that resource suction device still with you guys? Well, she will keep everyone busy.... not productive busy, but busy busy. And no incremental sales will the results be.

No medicare coverage?

Good luck getting it going. I heard it was 60K per year per patient. In the times of Obamacare? Riiiight.

Check out the Abbvie Q3 results - Duodopa is growing at a 20% clip internationally to lead all Abbvie drugs. Most of the rest of the word has socialized medicine and not near the standard of living as the U.S. Once approved in the U.S., this drug/device will rock!
