Keep telling yourself that. The goals will only get higher and higher. Pressure to make this pig successful will only become greater and greater. If you think Charlie or Doug will fall on their sword, you are nuts. Just wait till you feel the pressure to sell off label so you can keep your numbers up.

Name one product that the goals don't increase from one year to the next... Real basic business philosophy. Next complaint?

Yes, continue to make the goals unreachable for the vast majority when you haven't even attained the initial goal.

Listen Honey, first of all learn the difference between "there" and "their" and how to use it in a sentence. Second of all sweatheart where did you come from that you worked the day after Thanksgiving? Don't look for someone to blame when you are the incompetent one.

Yes, but they will raise them next quarter to another unachievable level after failing to meet the original unachievable goal. The sales reporting is suspect at best. Certainly not the capture rate they are suggesting.

Would 1 additional headcount be considered 'small?'

Year in review: joined GSK II, aka BI Oncology. Increased my base salary and promised the world in bonus. Sat on my ass for most of the year and "profiled" accounts. Launched a mediocre product and have mediocre sales. Laughed a lot, made some good friends, and made some cash. No regrets, but won't be here for long. Some of these guys are way too full of themselves. Have to wonder how they survive. Unimpressive at best.

Is it possible to be fired from this company due to performance? Numbers suck and no one has said a word.

Nope, just keep spending. Pretend that things will soon turn around, smile, and you will be fine. No one gets fired here...We are all best friends, right?

On the contrary. They will miss me. Me territory is one of the few that is producing. I can't believe I was sold on the PoS company. The next "Genentech" lol.

Anyone else feeling a little heat? Have a feeling field rides are on the upswing. A friend told me that GSK management believes that in every district someone is always being managed. PIPs are soon to become the norm here.

The ghost of Tykerb looms at BI. The spell has been cast and Gilotrif will find its grave next to lapatinib in the dog drug cemetery.

Does the overall sales success of a product equate to your happiness in the job?
Doubt it, or everyone would be clamoring to sell only herceptin or avastin.

Only relative to the sales expectations. Did you ever hear the phrase under-promise and over-deliver. These guys are delusional when it comes to the potential of this product. Face it-- It is what it is, a mediocre at best, toxic, salvage agent, that no one gives a rats ass about.

no, but if this is the "best of the best" from GSK, I can only imagine the world of hurt they are in. These guys are comical.
