Default Provigil going generic?

I found this quote at Forbes.com

Cephalon shares have rallied sharply as markets anticipate two recent Provigil patent settlements will ease the conversion of this wakefulness franchise to the new Nuvigil line next year," said the analyst. Provigil is Cephalon's sleep-disorder drug.

Does this mean Provoigil will be going generic in the next few years and what benefits does Nuvigil have over Provigil?

NOT GONNA HAPPEN ANYTIME SOON!!! http://www.cafepharma.com/ubbthreads...mlins/grin.gif
Forbes needs to review its sources and update the facts. Cephalon moves quicker than your average pharma, so news is usually outdated by the time you read it in a magazine.

Why not look at the patent date, add forward from there and you will know if it is going generic. Too much work?
