ONCOLOGY SALES REP

No goofy responses... honest people only please. Mature responses. I am trying to break into Oncology Sales as I heard that is where the REAL $$$ is and not in Primary Care. Has anyone done this? How does one go from Primary care to Oncology Sales? Thanks in advance.

Right now at SP you may be able to break in...it used to be that you had to do 5 yrs of PC (w/vgood results) just to get IV. SP oncology is a good place to START an oncology career, but as it is now (don't ever bank on "rumors we're supposed to be picking something up" - what does that mean anyway?) I've heard that "rumor" for 6 years now, I guess eventually it will happen, but unless the base and bonus become better, a new product will only give you something new to talk about.
