    Manufacturing cost in China is low compared to US. Also, even jobs that remain will be filled more and more with foreign employees.

    anyone see the August 8th article in Qmed about Joliet, IL layoff's. this was no surprise, but the last sentence in the article says MDT is also eliminating jobs inColumbia Heights & Memphis, TN. More to come????

    Saw the article. May be a bad quarter is expected and so is a rif in Memphis. Will see

    Continuous small RIP of American employees and hiring of India workers.

    Diversity at work and well illustrated after viewing 20 different diversity posters with groups of 3 or 4 people yet NOT one white male.

    Don't get me wrong and100% believe in inclusion and diversity. Yet, this concerns me because I like my job and have a family to provide for.
