I've not heard anything either, but don't think it means not moving forward. They have a limited number of managers for these interviews, and they are flying around to different regions conducting interviews. Takes a while, since they have 2 to 3 managers involved in each interview.

I received an email with my interview time, etc. today for interviews 12/5-12/7. You will spend 1 hr with a DM and then interview with a 2nd DM for the next hour. If all goes well you will then interview with a RM. If all does not go well you will not go to the 3rd interview.

Very confused. Wanted to interview for an Internal Medicine position but it was gone by the time I applied. Now I see Specialty Cardiology positions. What's going on with these contracts?

This is a different division. I think there are 90 of these, around the country, with huge territories, Xarelto only.

I get that. But we are they hiring CD specialists now? Shouldn't they have been on board already. Xarelto's already launched already in afib.

Is that true? Only 90 slots? And what exactly counts as "huge" these days?

    Re: 6594

Interviews are taking place 12/5-12/7 in Atlanta for several states. Two candidates were moved forward per territory. Candidates interview separately with 2 DMs and if you are successful you will then interview with the RM onsite. Candidates may be considered for more than one territory depending on the zip that you live in. J & J is interviewing a lot of Sanofi Aventis reps. Sanofi reps will find out today whether they have been laid off.

Has anyone received any offers from Quintiles?

I never even got a response from Quintiles after the initial interview.....I put a lot of effort in with recommendations and drive time to interview

Interviews are weird/ absurd. Made it to the final 2 spots, and knew the other rep interviewing. Neither of us got the job. Quintiles re-interviewed for position with same process, and I also knew one of the reps. She said neither got the job. Top 4 people that quintiles sent to JNJ didn't get job, and opening is now reposted. Go figure!

not so, If on former Quintiles you will have benefit over outside candidate. J&J has to honor former Quintiles employees first if up against an outside candidate. Unless the Quintiles candidate is a total dirt bag. Not saying they will actually make it past the Regional but will make it past the 2 DM's.

Were you currently calling on the Cardiologists in the geography that you interviewed for?How did you find out? Did Quintiles tell you before you left the interview or via phone call?

One of the J&J Internal Medicine positions here has now been posted for the third time since June. Seems like they are looking for some rep who can walk on water for them.

I know some reps have actually turned the job down. Some for money, some just didn't like the job, and the second person in the final interview was not even given a shot at another interview. Need to be young(under 30), unemployed, and with little experience. They want people who will do what they say, when they say it, and with no questions. Works for some people.
