    still cheaper than the check for Golestani’s lunch at the Merck cafeteria daily. We should be able to hire another 80k staff now he’s gone.

    Has a replacement been found yet for Golestani? I heard nobody wants the job despite Clark really “phoning it in” for the duration he held the position. Even Rudy Giuliani turned it down saying he has more chance of stopping Trump’s impeachment than being successful as Merck’s CEO.

    Why would anybody qualified for the job want to report into the head of finance? Talk about wanting to find a roof to throw ones self off of...

    I thought that was just Golestani being put on report by Kenny for sucking at his job, not what would be expected of the next CIO?

    Nothing I've heard changes the reporting structure. The new guy doesn't get to report to CEO....
