great place to work. We are the industry leader and have none of the bad press as some of our competitors. We have the cutting edge of testing over anyone in our market place and provide top notch service. The commission structure is outstanding if you are driven by money. We have manage care access to all payers and have zero denials, which means more commissions for us. We do have to do some admin, but very little compared to others. The senior leadership team is very open to the sales force and welcomes feedback from all of us on how to be the leader in testing. I love it here. I can honestly see myself retiring with this company in 12 years from now, which is un heard of these days.

They have their issues with managed care, but every lab does. It's not the biggest player in the sector, but their strength is their senior sales leadership (as mentioned) and CEO.

gulp, gulp. gulp. That was the sound of someone who drank waaaaaaaay too much of the company kool-aid. Cutting edge testing over anyone, Bullcrap!, Zero denials, BS again, but the biggest load of horse manure is that Dominion is the industry leader. TOTAL FREAKING BS!!! Why can't people be honest in this industry. There is VERY little difference between most of the companies doing urine drug testing. MS is MS regarldesss of what lab is doing it. Most labs are turing the results around in 1-3 days. Most of the time the cuttoffs are pretty close. There is not a great deal of difference between the differnt reports. Don't let anyone fool you into believing that the grass is always greener somepalce else.

Decent starting salary 65-75k. Very few benefits. Health ins is poor. Company car, laptop, and phone. It's possible to be successful if you are in the right territory. Bigger markets are more difficult to succeed in, due to managed care and numerous plans. Does not take Aetna and has some issues with other plans BCBS, etc.

Dominion's focus is addiction and pain. Urine tests only. A very small company with very few reps. (Less than 50'nationwide)Testing is no different than any other lab: Ameritox, Millenium, PCLS, Medytox, etc.

High turnover in the big city opportunities. Good stability in smaller markets of the South, parts of the northeast, and Midwest.

how come you dont mention AIT?

Have you been following AIT? They're insolvent and the bank has taken over. They're being restructured in order to be sold to Quest or another large lab.

How does one go from being a DM to a lab sales for a marginal company at best? Ouch!

Who are you talking about? A good sales rep will out earn a DM.

True, provided that the DM has proven they have no clue

You would be a fool to work for this company, they make it sound so good. Ask them how many people hit their goal. Not many, maybe 3 pr 4 out of 35

Actually, Dominion is the leader and pioneer in addiction monitoring services. Their reputation is stellar unlike competitors. They are not contracted with Aetna but they DO take it and are paid on it. Like all providers, lab or not, they do have some denials, but they have a good structure in place to limit them. And as a matter of fact they ARE the best in the industry and are unlike others in the fact that they can detect lower levels of certain drugs than any other lab out there. This is fact...look it up.

Actually you are wrong idiot. Dominion uses a higher end mass spec with an Orbitrap versus others using triple quads only. This allows them to achieve better results cheaper.
